Evalyn Giffin, resident of Crawfordsville several years ago, died in Los Angeles, Calif. at the home of a nephew, Robert Giffin. Miss Giffin, who taught in the Hammond school system, was returning from a trip to Hawaii when she suffered a heart attack. Her father was Robert T. Giffin who was employed in old Graham Department Store on North Washington Street. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in the early 1920s. Burial will be Saturday in the IOOF Cemetery at Darlington.--waw
